Teaching the next generation about responsible pet care, sterilization, and animal welfare in rural schools across Boquete.
The School Program
Amigos de Animales Boquete runs an educational outreach program in 13 rural schools around Boquete. Classes cover pet care basics, the importance of sterilization, and how families can keep their animals healthy and safe.
The program is coordinated by Katrina Kneebone and overseen by Cindy Clayton, who also leads our volunteer outreach initiatives.
No Spanish is required to volunteer! The program uses visual materials and local bilingual assistants to bridge the language gap.
